3 Scary Serves for Spooky Season!

Halloween is around the corner and we’re already enjoying some eerily delicious tipples. Luckily for you, there’s no witchcraft involved in making our fabulous gins! Just hand-crafted, 100% natural fruit infused goodness. That’s what makes them perfect for these creepy cocktails.

Whether you’ll be chilling on the sofa with a classic thriller or you’re planning a bloodcurdling costume party, read on for our top picks to ginspire you this Halloween… 

Bramble Halloween Punch:

The perfect potion for a party!

You’ll Need:

300ml Didsbury Gin British Bramble 

900ml tonic water (or to taste)

100ml crème de mure

Juice of 3 lemons

Punnet of blackberries

Method:

Fill a pitcher or punch bowl with lots of ice, then pour in all of your ingredients.

Stir with a large spoon for at least 30 seconds, to chill the mixture.

Feeling extra spooky? Combine a few drops of black food colouring with some sugar. Dip the rim of your glasses into lemon juice, then sugar to coat. 

Blood Orange Negroni

(Don’t worry, no real blood in this recipe!)

You’ll Need:

50ml Didsbury Gin Blood Orange & Ginger

50ml Campari

50ml sweet vermouth

Garnish: orange peel

Method:

Fill a mixing glass with ice and add your Didsbury Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

Stir for 30 seconds to chill.

Strain into an old-fashioned glass with one large cube of ice.

For a super spooky serve, set a piece of orange peel alight and drop it into the glass for a smoky garnish. 

Bloody Gin Fizz

All the taste, none of the terror.

You’ll Need:

50ml Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower

25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

15ml grenadine

Soda (to top up)

Method:

Fill a highball glass with ice.

Pour over Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower, and lemon juice. 

Top with soda, then drizzle grenadine into the cocktail for that bloodcurdling garnish!

Serve with a straw and stir gently before drinking.
